Why choose MPL Parcel Terminals?

Parcel terminals are typically accessible 24 hours a day in major towns at shopping centres, supermarkets, transport hubs, petrol stations and other easy-to-reach locations.

Our vehicles deliver large quantities of parcels to the terminals at the same time, shortening delivery distances and reducing emissions. Moreover, we avoid unnecessary printing by sending all confirmations electronically.

To send a parcel, all you need to do is create an address label online – there’s no need to print one.

Your parcels are protected by lockers made of steel plate and by cameras.

SENDING PARCELS

You can use parcel terminals to send your parcels anywhere in Hungary (delivered to another parcel terminal or Postal Point, or even to the door). Here you can find the parcel machines near to you.

Sending a parcel from a terminal is this easy:

Enter the address details in our online address label application. You don’t need to register, just enter the details needed to send your parcel without any registration.

After you have successfully filled in the address label, we will email you a code necessary to send your parcel. You don’t need to print the address label, our colleagues will do that for you.

Go to your chosen terminal and select the option “SEND PARCEL” on the screen.

Scan the QR code you received by email or enter the 8 or 13 digit dispatch ID number.

You can pay the dispatch fee at the terminal by bank card, or you can use a smartphone or smartwatch via the contactless card reader.

After payment, put your parcel in the selected locker and lock the door. We will send you an email confirming that the parcel has been accepted for dispatch.

Before it is delivered, the recipient of the parcel will be notified of delivery by email and SMS text message.

After the parcel has been received, we will send an email or SMS text message confirming successful delivery.

The most important thing is to use a box to pack your item for dispatch because this is the safest way to transport it.
When sending a parcel from a terminal, it’s best to use one of our standard boxes, which are sold at post offices.

PRICES

You can send a parcel to a terminal starting from HUF 1100.

Basic prices for private customers include VAT and are given in HUF. You can find the currently applicable service fees (including those for additional services) here.

COLLECTING PARCELS

Collecting a parcel at a terminal is this easy:

When your parcel arrives at the terminal, we will send you an email and SMS text message with a collection code.

Select the option “RECEIVE PARCEL” at the terminal.

3. Enter the 6 digit collection code you received in the notification.

When collecting a cash-on-delivery parcel, you can pay by bank card using the POS terminal or you can also use your smartphone or smartwatch via the contactless card reader.

After entering the correct code and, if needed, paying the cash-on-delivery amount, the door of the locker containing the parcel will open.

Once you have removed the parcel, close the locker door and confirm the collection on the terminal’s screen.

DEADLINE FOR COLLECTION

Parcels can be collected from the terminal within 2 workdays of the message notifying its arrival. If you do not manage to collect it, the parcel will be taken to a nearby post office, from where you can pick it up within 5 or 10 workdays, depending on the sender’s instructions. If an obstacle arises in placing a parcel addressed to a parcel terminal into the terminal, we will consult with you via SMS text message, email or phone.

No. You don’t need to print a label either in advance or at the Parcel Terminal. Just enter the necessary details on the online platform. An address label will be affixed to the parcel by the delivery workers after your parcel has been taken out of the locker for forwarding to the distribution centre.
