DELAYS IN INTERNATIONAL MAIL TRAFFIC, MAIL DELIVERY TO CERTAIN COUNTRIES HAS BEEN SUSPENDED

Mail traffic has slowed down worldwide due to the coronavirus pandemic. Restrictions on air and road traffic have been introduced in a number of countries, which has also presented obstacles for the delivery of mail items.

Options have become limited due to the current situation. Delivery of outbound mail items has become obstructed or impossible to some directions or countries, as of 18 March 2020, international mail delivery has been temporarily suspended (International EMS, MPL ES parcel, Europe+ parcel, international priority and non-priority postal parcel, international priority and non-priority letter). Magyar Posta is still not able to guarantee neither the delivery times for postal items nor the time guarantee for International EMS items among the accessible countries.
